I just read a story about a family that went on a no sugar diet for 1 year. The Mom became an expert in reading food labels and discovered that there were '50 hidden names' for sugar including 'diastatic malt', 'refiners syrup' and 'mannitol'.
Interestingly, she did not lose any weight over the 1 year period, but the energy level in every family member increased as did the health of each individual. The kids went from missing 10 and 15 days of school to 2 and 3 days.
I say what a great experience, now just what would have happened if they had gone organic at the same time. I am going to try this experience my self, to be added to my already organic non glutton diet and see what I experience.
I would have to agree with the wait loss aspect. We are so conditioned by the Media that sugar makes us fat and I lost weight by going organic and I continued to eat sugar.
