If you want to purge genetically modified food from society, you can help do so every time you go to the grocery store or a restaurant.  It's your money, spend it as you see fit.

Here is some more education on the subject.

“A new invention to poison people … is not a patentable invention.” Lowell v. Lewis, 1817

Yaaah, finally another law suit.  Let us encourage them anyway we can.

“A new invention to poison people … is not a patentable invention.” Lowell v. Lewis, 1817
A landmark lawsuit filed on March 29 in US federal court seeks to invalidate Monsanto’s patents on genetically modified seeds and to prohibit the company from suing those whose crops become genetically contaminated.
The Public Patent Foundation filed suit on behalf of 270,000 people from sixty organic and sustainable businesses and trade associations, including thousands of certified-organic farmers. In Organic Seed Growers and Trade Association, et al. v. Monsanto, et al. (U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, Case No. 11 CIV 2163), PUBPAT details the invalidity of any patent that poisons people and the environment, and that is not useful to society, two hallmarks of US patent law.
"As Justice Story wrote in 1817, to be patentable, an invention must not be 'injurious to the well being, good policy, or sound morals of society,'” notes the complaint in its opening paragraphs, citing Lowell v. Lewis.
The suit points to studies citing harm caused by Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide, including human placental damage, lymphoma, myeloma, animal miscarriages, and other impacts on human health.
Plaintiffs condemn Monsanto for prohibiting independent research on its transgenic seeds and for its successful lobby efforts to ban GM food labeling. Many raise the specter of allergic reaction to GM foods, proof of which is hidden by lack of labeling.
The suit also confronts the propaganda that transgenic seeds improve yield and reduce pesticide use, citing reports on failure to yield and increased pesticide use. The complaint mentions a 2010 lawsuit by West Virginia after several studies contradicted yield results claimed in Monsanto’s ads. And, it notes the growth inglyphosate-resistant superweeds
“Thus, since the harm of transgenic seed is known, and the promises of transgenic seed’s benefits are false, transgenic seed is not useful for society.”
This means, should the court agree, that all transgenic seeds fail the test of patent law. The suit has the potential to reverse patent approval on all biotech seeds, impacting BASF, Bayer, DuPont, Dow, and Syngenta, and others. Genetic contamination of natural plants occurs where GM seeds are grown, no matter who developed them. Ingesting food which has had its DNA mucked with is dangerous, regardless of who does the mucking.
What makes Monsanto different is its US seed monopoly. Well documented by market authorities, Plaintiffs point out that, “Over 85-90% of all soybeans, corn, cotton, sugar beets and canola grown in the U.S. contains Monsanto’s patented genes.”
Through its monopoly, Monsanto has spiked the cost of seeds. In the past decade, corn seed prices increased 135% and soybean prices 108%, the suit asserts. As recently as 1997, soybean farmers spent only 4-8% of their income on seeds, “while in 2009, farmers who planted transgenic soybeans spent 16.4 percent of their income on seeds.”
Monsanto has also used its dominant position to limit competition from other herbicide producers, as well, the suit alleges.
Listing 23 US patents by Monsanto, Plaintiffs also accuse the firm of “double patenting” thus strengthening its monopoly over the entire field of transgenic seeds:
“Although the United States patent system allows improvements on existing inventions, it does not permit a party to extend its monopoly over a field of invention by receiving a patent that expires later than and is not patentably distinct from a patent it already owns….
“Monsanto began applying for patents on glyphosate tolerance in the mid 1980s. Its first patents on the trait were granted in 1990 and are now expired. After pursuing its earliest patents on glyphosate resistance, Monsanto continued to seek and receive patents on Roundup Ready technology for over two decades….
“In acquiring the transgenic seed patents, Monsanto unjustly extended its period of patent exclusivity by duplicating its ownership of a field of invention already covered by other Monsanto patents.”
The suit then concludes, “Monsanto’s transgenic seed patents are thus invalid for violating the prohibition against double patenting.”
Genetic Contamination
Here’s the mother of all arguments, which makes the most sense to the lay public. How dare Monsanto sue farmers damaged by genetic contamination of their crops? That’s like a pugilist suing for damage to his hand after he punches an unwilling victim.
“Plaintiffs cannot be held to have infringed any Monsanto transgenic seed patent if Plaintiffs become contaminated by Monsanto’s transgenic seed through no intentional act of their own.”
Monsanto admits that its product contaminates natural crops. That must be why it recently altered its Technology Stewardship Agreement to transfer liability for its products to the farmers who buy them.
The suit logically asserts that genetic contamination amounts to trespass on the property of those who do not want GE seeds, causing them substantial economic harm.
We saw that when Bayer’s transgenic seeds contaminated a third of the US rice supply, causing the European Union to close its market to US rice. Bayer has faced 6,000 lawsuits due to that contamination and market closure. On top of lawsuits already lost or settled, last month, Bayer lost a $137 million lawsuit by Riceland Foods. The new suit notes that, “The worldwide total economic loss due to the [2006 GM rice] contamination event was estimated at $741 million to $1.285 billion.”
Impact on the Biotech Food Industry
The suit argues that because “contamination is reasonably foreseeable,” Monsanto thus loses its patent rights whenever it sells its GM seeds. This wouldn’t stop it from selling the seed, but it would allow farmers to save seeds from transgenic crops. No company can stay in business without repeat customers, especially ones that spend millions on research and development. And, because transgenic contamination is not limited to Monsanto’s seeds, all biotech seed companies would likewise face dissolution of their intellectual property rights.
Other harm from biotechnology does not stop with Monsanto’s seeds or chemicals, either. To protect the world from the biotech food industry, which extends to animals, patenting life itself should be banned. This lawsuit might take us closer to a return of that legal standard, prior to the 2001 High Court decision in J.E.M. Ag Supply v. Pioneer Hi-Bred International. In that case, Oyez explains
“Farm Advantage filed a patent invalidity counterclaim, arguing that sexually reproducing plants, such as Pioneer’s corn plants, are not patentable subject matter within section 101. Farm Advantage maintained that the Plant Patent Act of 1930 (PPA) and the Plant Variety Protection Act (PVPA) set forth the exclusive statutory means for protecting plant life.”
The court disagreed, and thus allowed patents on sexually reproducing life forms, which extends to animals. Of note, the decision was written by ethically-challengedClarence Thomas, a former Monsanto attorney. Thomas also refused to recuse himself from a 2010 case involving Monsanto. (Geertson Seed v Monsanto involved contamination of natural alfalfa.)
Among the plaintiffs in the PUBPAT suit is Navdanya International, headed by Dr. Vandana Shiva who has long fought biopiracy. Genetic patents “have unleashed an epidemic of the piracy of nature’s creativity and millennia of indigenous innovation,” Shiva wrote at Navdanya.
The new lawsuit couldn’t come a moment too soon, given the USDA’s recent decision to allow rice modified with human genes by Ventria Bioscience. Such approval begs the question: At what point is the line into cannibalism crossed? Biotech and pharmaceutical companies have produced several hundred “pharma crops” – food that contains vaccines against a variety of diseases. The FDA and USDA would have us ignore that this scheme fails to consider appropriate dosage specific to a person’s age, weight and medical condition, the very foundation of pharmaceutical science.
The biotech industry is out of control, and poses a significant danger to humans and the environment. PUBPAT’s lawsuit marks a significant step toward restoring a safe, sane and consensual food supply.

Eat like a cannibal: Rice to have human genes

A little bit of good and the government wants to give us more poison.

One step closer to the so-called Frankenstein Foods, the first known mingling of human-origin genes with plants. Our U.S. Department of Agriculture is not about protecting us.  They have already signaled that they plan to allow commercial cultivation.
The California-based Ventria Bioscience, have been given preliminary approval to grow it on more than 3,000 acres in Kansas. The company plans to harvest the proteins and use them in drinks, desserts, yoghurts and muesli bars.

FYI: GMO Testing Information site

I found a place that can verify if the food is GMO or not.  Don't know the cost yet but will follow up. The rest of the world is ahead of us. I believe it is because as Michelle Bachmann put it, congress has been lobbied and bought off by the corporations producing this poison food.

Testing for bioengineered crops, also referred to as Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), has become a necessity in light of legislation imposed in member countries of the European Union, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and in an increasing number of other countries. They established labeling laws for approved bioengineered crops, while prohibiting the import of unapproved varieties. For approved varieties, commonly tolerance thresholds are established below which a product does not have to be labeled as containing or derived from GMOs.
Threshold levels vary for each legislation. Since 2004, the labeling threshold for food products in the European Union is 0.9%. Current EU regulations demand control through analysis and traceability. Food and feed products that contain or are derived from GMOs must be labeled. For products that are highly refined, documentation of their conventional, non-biotech source material is now required. The labeling threshold in Japan is 5%, South Korea 3%, and Australia and New Zealand 1%.
Two different categories of analytical methods are used to detect GMOs. One is Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). It is based on the detection of genetic material (DNA). It is most versatile for detection of biotech crops and therefore the method of choice for many applications. The alternative is Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). It detects foreign protein(s) which most bioengineered crops contain as a result of the insertion of bioengineered gene(s). As compared to PCR, ELISA is more restricted in its applicability but can be very useful in certain raw commodities.
A commonly recommended or required approach is to screen for any biotech crop or material derived thereof by the detection of genetic elements that are shared between virtually all commercialized agricultural GMOs. The two best- known examples are the 35S promoter from Cauliflower Mosaic Virus (CaMV) and the NOS terminator from Agrobacterium tumefaciens. These are widely used, well-characterized elements, which direct the expression of the biotechnology genes they reside in. These tests will work on most matrices: corn, feed pellets, soybeans, corn starch, maltodextrin, seasonings, vitamins, beverages and all finished food.
This method is widely accepted as the most efficient way to screen for GMOs. Additional screening tests may be advisable for different commodities and ingredients. A variety of screening tests besides 35S promoter and NOS terminator are available at Eurofins GeneScan. Please contact our experts for more information about devising the best testing strategy for your product.
We offer a comprehensive suite of GMO tests for corn, corn by-products, soybeans, canola and rice being exported to the European Union, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. Please contact our experts for more information about these packages.

Know your rice - How can you know anything about the food you buy in the stores

Farmers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Texas has sued Bayer after the German conglomerate developed an experimental strain of rice called LibertyLink to withstand its Liberty herbicide. (about half of the nation’s rice is produced in these states) Federal regulators had not yet approved it for human consumption when trace amounts were found mixed with conventional rice seed in storage bins.

The Government is complicit with the chemical and seed companies that are killing us and making everyone who eats there food products sterile ageing faster than normal.

So what are you doing about it?  I call the companies and complain about there GMO food products and call the non-GMO companies and complement them on doing a good job and I buy there products.  I also call and email my congress person and senators.  Let me know what you are doing.

YOU ARE GOING BE SICK, STERILE AND DIE YOUNG

Spread the word, demand congress make GMO crops illegal ASAP.  This is affecting you, your family and the generation to come.  Fertility clinic have gone from 1 to 14 in some areas. Why? Watch this video and figure it out.  It is GMO!  It is in almost every food product.  As for me and my family, we have stopped eating anything with corn in it and after watching this video, we are no longer going to eat anything with soy in it.
They feed the crops to the animals that we eat and we get the poison that way too.  It is cumulative in our system as it is in the plants.  Forty percent of the dairy cows are unable to reproduce and one dairy stated that 70% of their calfs were still born.  Get it?
It is getting worse in the animal world as well as in the human world.  For the love of money said the corporate world and the eugenics crowd roared, because much of the population will be dead in a few years.  Thank you Monsanto and ConAgrua.  (Mostly Monsanto.)
Cows at 2 years old when they go to slaughter are valued at 8 to 10 years old.  Why? They are fed GMO crops and so are we.  Can you hear the death march yet?  Please, let us wake up the world on this.

We need to let our local stores know that we only want to buy organic food.  Proven organic food.

Corporate Popcorn: It Will Get You Cancer And Sterile

The Toxicologist Won’t Eat: Microwave PopcornOlga Naidenko, is a senior scientist for the Environmental Working Group.

The problem:
Chemicals, including perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), in the lining of the bag, are part of a class of compounds that may be linked to infertility in humans, according to a recent study from UCLA. In animal testing, the chemicals cause liver, testicular, and pancreatic cancer. Studies show that microwaving causes the chemicals to vaporize–and migrate into your popcorn. “They stay in your body for years and accumulate there,” says Naidenko, which is why researchers worry that levels in humans could approach the amounts causing cancers in laboratory animals. DuPont and other manufacturers have promised to phase out PFOA by 2015 under a voluntary EPA plan, but millions of bags of popcorn will be sold between now and then.
The solution: Pop natural kernels the old-fashioned way: in a skillet. For flavorings, you can add real butter or dried seasonings, such as dillweed, vegetable flakes, or soup mix.
Budget tip: Popping your own popcorn is dirt cheap

Arsenic in the apple juice

Consumer Reports has come out with a study this week.  Lab tests,  found that the majority of arsenic present in 79 apple juice samples was of the cancer causing inorganic type (man made?), and some delivering as much as 10 and 15 ppb of inorganic arsenic alone.
Like I said "poison in almost all of the food supply".   How can you keep eating and drinking that stuff without yelling at the corporations that produce it.  The FDA does nothing. Every ask why.  Congress does nothing but send out form letters.  I know, because that is what they send me when I complain.  They are bought off.  Read the  book by Jack Abramoff who was the # 1 lobbyist. He bought these congressmen and senators for companies.  That is one main reason why are food is poison.

Loose 6 pounds, just by eating grass feed beef

What is wrong with the beef you/we eat.
Do you suffer or know someone who does, from depression, schizophrenia, attention deficit disorder (hyperactivity), or Alzheimer's disease.  Pass this on and help them start the road to recovery.

Lower in Fat and Calories
There are a number of nutritional differences between the meat of pasture-raised and feedlot-raised animals. To begin with, meat from grass-fed cattle, sheep, and bison is lower in total fat. If the meat is very lean, it can have one third as much fat as a similar cut from a grain-fed animal. In fact, as you can see by the graph below, grass-fed beef can have the same amount of fat as skinless chicken breast, wild deer, or elk.[1] Research shows that lean beef actually lowers your "bad" LDL cholesterol levels.[2]

Data from J. Animal Sci 80(5):1202-11.
Because meat from grass-fed animals is lower in fat than meat from grain-fed animals, it is also lower in calories. (Fat has 9 calories per gram, compared with only 4 calories for protein and carbohydrates. The greater the fat content, the greater the number of calories.) As an example, a 6-ounce steak from a grass-finished steer can have 100 fewer calories than a 6-ounce steak from a grain-fed steer. If you eat a typical amount of beef (66.5 pounds a year), switching to lean grassfed beef will save you 17,733 calories a year without requiring any willpower or change in your eating habits. If everything else in your diet remains constant, you'll lose about six pounds a year. If all Americans switched to grassfed meat, our national epidemic of obesity might diminish.
In the past few years, producers of grass-fed beef have been looking for ways to increase the amount of marbling in the meat so that consumers will have a more familiar product. But even these fatter cuts of grass-fed beef are lower in fat and calories than beef from grain-fed cattle.
Extra Omega-3s - Meat from grass-fed animals has two to four times more omega-3 fatty acids than meat from grain- fed animals. Omega-3s are called "good fats" because they play a vital role in every cell and system in your body. For example, of all the fats, they are the most heart-friendly. People who have ample amounts of omega-3s in their diet are less likely to have high blood pressure or an irregular heartbeat. Remarkably, they are 50 percent less likely to suffer a heart attack.[3] Omega-3s are essential for your brain as well. People with a diet rich in omega-3s are less likely to suffer from depression, schizophrenia, attention deficit disorder (hyperactivity), or Alzheimer's disease.
[4]Another benefit of omega-3s is that they may reduce your risk of cancer. In animal studies, these essential fats have slowed the growth of a wide array of cancers and also kept them from spreading.[5] Although the human research is in its infancy, researchers have shown that omega-3s can slow or even reverse the extreme weight loss that accompanies advanced cancer and also hasten recovery from surgery.[6,7]
Omega-3s are most abundant in seafood and certain nuts and seeds such as flaxseeds and walnuts, but they are also found in animals raised on pasture. The reason is simple. Omega-3s are formed in the chloroplasts of green leaves and algae. Sixty percent of the fatty acids in grass are omega-3s. When cattle are taken off omega-3 rich grass and shipped to a feedlot to be fattened on omega-3 poor grain, they begin losing their store of this beneficial fat. Each day that an animal spends in the feedlot, its supply of omega-3s is diminished.[8] The graph below illustrates this steady decline.

Data from: J Animal Sci (1993) 71(8):2079-88.
It has been estimated that only 40 percent of Americans consume an adequate supply of omega-3 fatty acids. Twenty percent have blood levels so low that they cannot be detected.[10] Switching to the meat, milk, and dairy products of grass-fed animals is one way to restore this vital nutrient to your diet.

Stevia Sweet Stevia

I found this website for buying stevia at a good price compared to what it costs in most stores. http://www.mothernature.com/s/stevia/1126.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=stevia%20ice%20cream&utm_content=Stevia&utm_campaign=sections&kid=228978
Myself, I love the taste of stevia, as long as I don't use to much at a time. I wish my wife liked it as much as I do.

Details about stevia:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stevia

Store bought table sugar is 50% fructose and because they put fructose in just about everything.

The following information has been taken form Organic life style Magazine.  Some of the information is reworded and some is excerpted.

Sugar, Honey, Fructose and Glucose information

Glucose

A simple sugar made by the body through digestion of carbohydrates. It is the body's chief source of energy. Glucose = dextrose.

Sucrose

Sucrose is table sugar. It is made from highly processed sugar cane or sugar beets. (Note: much of the Sugar beets are GMO these days.)  Sucrose is a combination of glucose and fructose these days, which separates during digestion. Pure sucrose has no nutrients.

Fructose

Fructose is fruit sugar, a simple sugar, also found in honey, tree fruits, berries, and melons. But don't be fooled into thinking fructose on a label means you are eating fruit sugar. Pure crystalline fructose comes from two sources: corn or sucrose (table sugar). Corn starch (which is probably GMO which contains pesticides in the DNA of the product.) is processed to release fructose. Sucrose (table sugar) is enzymatically hydrolyzed to separate into glucose and fructose. Crystalline fructose is pure fructose that comes from one of these two sources.

High fructose syrup

High Fructose Corn Syrup is made from starches like corn, wheat, and rice. High fructose syrups contain nearly equal amounts of glucose and fructose, a composition nearly identical to sucrose (table sugar). The reason high fructose corn syrup is so abundant in our processed food is simple-it's cheaper than sugar. Because we highly subsidize corn and place tariffs on sugar imports, high fructose corn syrup is much less expensive.
Pure fructose is 1.2-1.8 times sweeter than sucrose so less is needed for the same level of sweetness. It is low on the glycemic index, therefore it does not lead to peaks and dips in the body's glucose levels. But fructose is processed in the liver. When too much fructose enters the liver at once, the liver can't process fructose as a sugar. Instead, the liver turns excess fructose into fats-triglycerides. When you incorporate these fats into our bodies cells (the cell membranes) triglycerides cause these cells to be insulin resistant. This is the reason that high fructose corn syrup leads to diabetes. Fructose is linked to significant increases of both cholesterol and triglycerides. Fructose, like sucrose-is a highly refined processed sugar devoid of any nutrition.

The American Diet - Bad News

More FYI

The USDA has stated that Americans need to eat approximately 50 % more vegetables, 150% more fruits, 250% more orange vegetables and 350% more green vegetables daily! The recommendation is 7 to 13 servings per day to improve health and prevent chronic disease. But, with today’s busy lifestyles and fast food eating habits, few American adults, and far fewer children, even eat the recommended minimum of 5-A-Day!  I believe that getting healthy food is impossible unless you read the labels and even then you can't be sure.
You see, the government scientist know what we need to live long with health but congress has been bought off by the corporations and are deceived themselves.

Do genetically-manipulated, chemical-laden fields of crops cannot perform to the output and standards of organic farming and actually cost more to produce?

A recent 30-year study at Pennsylvania's Rodale Institute comparing conventional and organic farming methods has produced some interesting results. (Rodale Institute: The Farming Systems )
Here are some quick numbers from the study:
  • Organic methods produced 4,079 lbs per acre - conventional farming produced 4,022 lbs per acre.
  • Organic methods netted $558 per acre profit - conventional farming netted $190 per acre profit.
  • It took 3,264 megajoules of energy to produce organic crops per acre per year. It took 4,568 megajoules of energy to produce those same crops conventionally.
  • Greenhouse gas emissions from organics were 906 lbs of carbon dioxide per acre a year with organics. Conventional crops produced 1,400 lbs of carbon dioxide per acre a year.
  • In years of drought, organic crops outperformed even those GMO crops designated "drought resistant."
According to Andre Leu in his article The Benefits of Organic Food, "A scientific study published in the Journal of Applied Nutrition in 1993 clearly showed that organic food is more nutritious than conventional food. Organically and conventionally grown apples, potatoes, pears, wheat, and sweet corn were purchased over two years in the western suburbs of Chicago, and then analyzed for mineral content. The organically grown food was on average 63 percent higher in calcium, 73 percent higher in iron, 118 percent higher in magnesium, 178 percent higher in molybdenum, 91 percent higher in phosphorus, 125 percent higher in potassium, and 60 percent higher in zinc. In addition, the organic food was on average 29 percent lower in mercury than the conventionally raised food." Taken from Earthly Delights: Do You Know?

This excerpt was taken from the following "Off The grid" website: https://mail.google.com/mail/?hl=en&tab=wm#inbox/132fdde189e11171

From this, I would like to suggest that if more farmers would get to growing organic, the prices in the stores would come down.  We also need to get congress to stop allowing natural seeds to be patented or in the future, you will not be able to buy organic seeds and save them from your crops if you grow your own.

The FDA Ignored Own Scientists’ Warnings About the Safety of GM Food

no gmo

Internal US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) documents reveal that the agency’s own scientists expressed doubts about its policy toward labeling genetically modified foods, while raising questions about the foods’ safety.

The FDA’s policy toward genetically modified foods has been that they are “substantially equivalent” to conventional foods and therefore don’t require special labels—unlike most other industrialized nations that require labeling.

“Profound difference” between GM and conventional foods

FDA’s policy, established in 1992, states, “The agency is not aware of any information showing that foods derived by these new (genetic engineering) methods differ from other foods in any meaningful or uniform way, or that, as a class, foods developed by the new technologies present any different or greater safety concern than foods developed by traditional plant breeding.”
But FDA internal documents released in the late 1990s during a lawsuit against the agency show that the FDA’s own scientists had serious doubts about GM foods when the policy was being established.
In a February 1992 memo, Louis J. Pribyl, Ph.D., a scientist in the FDA’s Microbiology Group, critiqued a draft of the policy by writing, “There is a profound difference between the types of unexpected effects from traditional breeding and genetic engineering which is just glanced over in this document.” Dr. Pribyl added that “several aspects of gene insertion may be more hazardous than traditional plant crossbreeding.”
Linda Kahl, Ph.D., an FDA compliance officer, objected that the agency was, “trying to fit a square peg into a round hole [by] trying to force an ultimate conclusion that there is no difference between foods modified by genetic engineering and foods modified by traditional breeding practices.” She continued, “The processes of genetic engineering and traditional breeding are different, and according to the technical experts in the agency, they lead to different risks.”
E.J. Matthews, Ph.D., of the FDA’s Toxicology group warned in an October 1991 memo, “genetically modified plants could also contain unexpected high concentrations of plant toxicants.”
In a November 1991 memo to James Maryanski, Ph.D., the agency’s Biotechnology Coordinator, FDA’s Division of Food Chemistry and Technology cautioned, “it would be necessary to demonstrate that edible seed and oils produced from genetically engineered plants do not contain unintended potentially harmful substances at levels that would cause concern.”

Getting a vaccine these days can make you sterile, put you in a wheel chair and do a mired of other things to your body.  The put mercury in them.  I would never again take a vaccine.  How about you.

The following was excerpted from: http://healthfreedoms.org/2011/10/06/flu-vaccine-pushed-despite-nerve-disease-link/

The H1N1 vaccine scourge is in full force and so is the push. What isn’t emphasized among the government and medical community is the strong link between the vaccine and a rare, debilitating nerve disease.
The Guillain-Barre Syndrome and death link is well known, but that doesn’t keep doctors from administering them even though 50 percent of doctors are refusing them. HFA has reported this deadly link two years ago as well as with other vaccines such as Menactra, which is pushed for babies.

Some bad things about fast food served in fast food restaurants:

Reasons I choose not to eat in fast food restaurants anymore.
The chemical that they put in much of it will destroy your health and the health of your grand kids, if indeed you will have any because of the GMO.  (Genetically Modified Organism) McDonald s, I am told is the largest purchaser of GMO potatoes that they sell in their french frys.  Look up GMO and rats. Look up GMO corn and mice.  No more reproduction and tumors throughout the body.  These are just a few good reasons not to eat fast food.

In a report on at rats eating GMO food, the following was found. We are talking about a time frame of weeks when problems emerged from eating the GMO foods.

I don't want my kidneys to fail from eating GMO food.  "Read this from the link above: If all the data are taken together, and overall in regard to the specifically disturbed urine chemistry parameters at weeks 5 and 14
(Table 2), which were not indicated by Hammond et al. (2006), it could be concluded that a
GM-linked male renal toxicity is observed in this work".

"...greater kidney sensitivity in males and liver sensitivity in females".

Body weight:  This results in 3.3% decrease in weight for males and 3.7% increase for females.

Chocolate- is it good for you?

This gal is really sharp.  I am glad that I like dark chocolate.  The milk chocolate does not have very much good in it.  This is good information and fun to watch.

Don't forget to read the bread labels

A danger in bread: If the bread you buy has azodicarbonamide ( look it up) in it, I suggest you call the company and tell them that you will not be buying there bread anymore until they take azodicarbonamid out of it. It is a respiratory sensitiser          (a possible cause of asthma).

More people are getting cancer than ever before

A new report says more people are getting cancer than ever before.  Why doesn't someone ask why.  GMO and other food chemicals are why.  No I can't prove it but it makes sense.

As I write this, there is a commercial playing on the radio talking about needing donations for finding a cancer cure.  I say, stop eating the poison, start eating only healthy food.  You need to spend time researching what to eat and what not to eat as I am doing.  Then you will get well and keep the cancers away.

The published report - September issue of Lancet Oncology.  The worldwide cost  for cancer care: $895 billion in 2008.  Expect 22 million new cancer patients by 2030. Add another $286 billion in costs. So the corporations poison us for profit and the Medical community pretends to heal us for profit.  This is not conspiracy.   This is fact!  Just read the labels and use the internet to find out what you are eating and what it does to you.  Your eating habits will begin to change and you will start getting healthier.

Stop being ignorant.  It's not healthy.  Right?  Please join me in calling the food companies and telling them if they can't tell you that there is no GMO food in there product that you won't buy it anymore.  Do the same with bad chemicals in the food. Thanks for helping if you do.  Good researching to you.

NUTS: Combating the poison & lack of nutrition in the food supply

You have to do some work to keep from loosing your health and brain function.  I don't want dementia or Alzheimers, do you?  You had better start now.

Ah, Nuts  -  Before going nuts - eat them!

Why Soak Nuts, Grains, Beans, Peas, Before Eating?

Soak nuts before eating:  http://glutenfreerecipebox.com/why-soak-nuts-grains-beans-peas-before-eating
I read some time ago that grains having Phytates should be soaked overnight.  This used to be done in bygone years.  To have cereal in the morning the family would let the grain soak overnight, drain off the water in the morning and thus be healthier.
All nuts and seeds contain enzyme inhibitors which will neutralize some of the enzymes our bodies produce. Your body needs enzymes to survive.  Note:  there is another view also, click here: Phytates

The World According To Monsanto - FULL LENGTH

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YH4OwBYDQe8

Watch this movie and you will be greatly educated.  Monsanto is responsible for the creation of 90% of all GMO seeds and crops.  This is not a nice company.  It is about greed and poisoning of the public, us.

Round up effects cell division and we are getting it in our food supply. Even unborn children are getting round up.

Silver for health is the best silver investing you can do.

Years ago people knew how to keep their food from going bad without chemicals. Silver coins dropped in fresh milk prevented souring and kept unhealthy bacteria from growing. When the wagon trains came west, silver dollars were dropped into the water barrows to reduce the growth of bacteria and help keep the water fresh.  Now we use chemicals like chlorine, so what is that doing to our insides.
As a kid, I hated drinking chlorine tainted water, but when we went to our cabin and drank fresh well water, I loved it.  Or even water direct from the river. It all tasted so good.
More on silver to come:  The right kind of silver can cure cancer and most other pathogens.  I will be sharing how you can get this in the weeks to come.

All plant life on earth could have been destroyed!

http://www.offthegridnews.com/2011/09/19/the-future-of-american-agriculture-genetically-engineered-arrogance-and-the-threat-of-the-anti-life-sciences/
The following is excerpted form Off The Grid News:   Read the rest of the article at the above link.
Life scientists who have given themselves permission to play God may accidentally create something cataclysmic and apocalyptic all on their own. And the scary thing about this possibility is that it is not theoretical – it has actually already happened.
Klebsiella Planticola: The Real-Life Frankenstein’s Monster
In the early 1990′s, a European biotechnology corporation was all set to release a genetically modified version of a common plant bacteria called klebsiella planticola, which normally helps break down dead organic material so it can be re-absorbed into the soil. The new strain of this microbe was genetically altered to create two useful substances from undifferentiated dead biomass: alcohol and organic fertilizer. The new microbes would be spread on cropland after harvest, and the products they produced from dead and dying plants could then be collected and sold on world markets.
There was only one problem with this scheme. The genetically modified klebsiella planticola, unlike the natural version, did not terminate after finishing its work. On the contrary, the new microbe survived the fermentation process it instigated in order to create alcohol from raw plant material, and if it had been released into nature as a part of fertilizer, it would have immediately attacked any plant life growing in adjacent soil, setting off a process of alcohol fermentation that would inevitably lead to the death of that plant life. As the new bacterium divided and multiplied, it would then have continued to spread from plant to plant, from field to field, from forest to forest, and so on, until it had wiped out every living plant on the face of the earth. If this genetically-engineered form of klebsiella planticola had actually been released into nature, it could have literally scoured the surface of the entire planet unless scientists had been able to come up with some kind of miracle to stop it.
What is most frightening about this situation is that this apocalypse microbe had actually been approved for use by regulatory agencies responsible for monitoring the creation of new geneticallyaltered life forms. It was only because of a fortuitous and random review of this new form of klebsiella planticola by a professor at Oregon State University that its potentially devastating effects were discovered before it could be released onto the market.
Heeding the Warnings
The story coming out of the Iowa cornfields is only the latest piece of evidence that reveals the dangerous road that we have embarked upon. God created nature in a way that was perfectly balanced and capable of meeting the needs of all creatures great or small, without the need for arrogant intervention by men and women convinced they know better. If we are not careful, we are ultimately going to genetically engineer ourselves right out of existence.

...HARMFUL EFFECTS OF GENETICALLY MODIFIED (GM) FOODS
In a sentence

This article outlines the many harmful effects of GM or genetically-modified foods (known also as genetically-engineered foods) and representng lab-created GMOs or genetically-modified organisms...

The following is excerpted from the following website: http://www.raw-wisdom.com/50harmful.

Introduction
What is called "biotechnology" is a vital issue that impacts all of us.
Largely between 1997 and 1999, genetically modified (GM)  food ingredients suddenly appeared in2/3rds of all US processed foods. This food alteration was fueled by a single Supreme Court ruling. It allowed, for the first time, the patenting of life forms for commercialization. Since then thousands of applications for experimental genetically-modified (GM) organisms, including quitebizarre GMOs, have been filed with the US Patent Office alone, and many more abroad. Furthermore an economic war broke out to own equity in firms that legally claimed such patent rights or the means to control not only genetically modified organisms but vast reaches of human food supplies. This has been the behind-the-scenes and key factor for some of the largest and rapid agri-chemical firm mergers in history. The merger of Pioneer Hi-Bed and Dupont (1997), Novartis AG and AstraZeneca PLC (2000), plus Dow's merger with Rohm and Haas(2001) are three prominent examples,  Few consumers are aware this has been going on and is ever continuing. Yet if you recently ate soya sauce in a Chinese restaurant, munched popcorn in a movie theatre, or indulged in an occasional candy bar - you've undoubtedly ingested this new type of food. You may have, at the time, known exactly how much salt, fat and carbohydrates were in each of these foods because regulations mandate their labeling for dietary purposes. But you would not know if the bulk of these foods, and literally every cell had been genetically altered!
In just those three years, as much as 1/4th of all American agricultural lands or 70-80 million acres were quickly converted to raise genetically-modified (GM) food and crops. And in the race to increase GM crop production verses organics, the former is winning. For details, see our articleWho is Winning The Race Between GM Global and Organic Crop Production?
