Healthy Fry Bread - To Keep from getting too thin

Healthy Fry Bread
  • 2 cups of Einkorn wheat flour   (almost no gluten )
  • 1//2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of Almond milk
  • 3 teasp baking power
  • 4 & 1/2 tablespoons of Coconut oil
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours
  • Heat coconut oil to no more than 350 if it starts smoking, turn it down.
  • Fry in 2 inches of coconut oil or more until golden brown
  • Usually the size I make is 3 inches by 4 inches
  • Taste similar to a plain donut 
I use this for my bread - 
The coconut oil is good for the Brain  (coconut oil reverses dementia)

Remember this is a grain, and even though it is the original wheat, it will put fat on you.  I had to start eating 
this after I lost my weight, I was eating Ketogenic and lost 30  pounds, 10 pounds to much.  Then, because, I switch to vegan eating, I could not keep any weight on. I was getting too thin. So I added a little Fry bread to my daily routine.   

I had to weigh myself every morning for a while.  So as long as I a couple of pieces of fry bread 3 inches by 4 inches I can maintain.    

Once in a while I will make some frosting with powered coconut sugar & arrowroot flower and some coco.  Tast like a chocolate donut.   Only once in a while.  You have to treat yourself now and then. It ads to the enjoyment of life in the here and now.  Eternity will have it's own rewards.  I look forward to those even more so.
